Reconstructed from the vintage 1903 Lyric and 1920 Apollo music theatres by entrepreneur Garth Drabinsky, the Ford Center, on New York’s reinvigorated 42nd Street, is an 1,821-seat theatre with an atmosphere of pure fantasy. Past productions include Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Ragtime.

Disability Access:
There are no steps into the theatre from the sidewalk and the restrooms are located on the main level. Wheelchair seating is available. The theatre also has elevators, but they only go to the Dress Circle level. Patrons requiring wheelchair accessible seats can purchase tickets: directly at the Ford Center Box Office by mailing their request to the Box Office or by faxing their request to (212) 582-5519.
Additional Information:
The theatre is air conditioned for your comfort. There is a gift shop located in the lobby. A coat check is available. Although all seats offer excellents views of the stage, the best seats are located in the rows with double letters.
